GERRIE FELLOWS

Gerrie Fellows has two books from Shearsman; her previous collections include Window for a Small Blue Child, a sequence about fertility treatment, shortlisted for the Scottish Poetry Book of the Year, and a poetry and prose sequence, The Powerlines, which explores transformations wrought by settlement and hydro-electricity. A Scottish poet with roots in New Zealand, her poetry appears in many anthologies of Scottish writing.

GASPAR OROZCO

Gaspar Orozco was born in Chihuahua, Mexico in 1971. The most recent of his seven books of poetry are Autocinema and, with Brooklyn artist H.U. Lian, Game of Mirrors, an interactive e-book with English and Chinese translations. Two of his books have been translated by Mark Weiss: Notas del país de Z (bilingual) and Book of the Peony /  Memorial de la peonía (bilingual, 2017, from Shearsman). He has translated poetry into Spanish from English and Chinese. He was part of the punk rock group, Revolución X, and co-directed the documentary Subterraneans, about New York's subway norteño musicians.

FANI PAPAGEORGIOU

Fani Papageorgiou’s collection When You Said No, Did You Mean Never? (Shearsman Books, 2013) won the Hong Kong Poetry Prize and has since been published in Spanish translation by Bartleby Editores, Madrid. She has since published two further collections with Shearsman: Not So Ill with You and Me and The Purloined Letter. Her poems and book reviews have appeared in various magazines in the USA and the UK.  A native of Greece, she now lives in London.
